Reverend Gerie Martin is ordained through, Faith Church, in West Covina, California, as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She and her husband, Russell, were members since its inception in 1980. She ministered and taught at a four year old sister church, Mountainview Faith Community, located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, and they are currently members at JPL Church in Rancho Mirage, CA. They have been married 65 years, have four children, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
 Together they have been co-leaders and teachers in the cell group ministries of Faith Community Church, instructing and building up the people of God. Reverend Martin has also led and taught intercession groups, was the personal intercessor for her Senior pastor and his family for many years, as well as being a counselor and “lay pastor” to the family of the Lord. In addition, she was co-founder and co-director of the small group ministries at Faith Community in West Covina and helped establish the Precept Upon Precept Bible study classes.
She served as co-leader and teacher of an adult Sunday School class, which numbered over one hundred people, for several years. She has also lead and taught intercession classes and Discipleship training classes at the church in Rancho Cucamonga and intercession at Victory Christian Center. In addition, Rev Gerie is currently serving as leader and developer of the prayer ministries for JPL church in Rancho Mirage CA.
Gerie has served on the Board of Directors for the Compassion Network, a non-profit organization that ministered to the needy in the Southern California area. She has served on the Board of Directors for “Save America”, a prophetic, end-times ministry, which serves the Body of Christ at large in America via radio and the written word, located in Richmond, VA. She has also been a board member of the Missions Action Team, which oversaw the missions programs at Faith Community and has taught and led in the Women’s ministries as well as having served on the Board for Women’s Ministries. She has also served on the Board of Directors for Great Host Ministries, located in Houston, TX.
Gerie has traveled to many countries of the world, including Australia, the Bahamas, Burundi, Columbia, England, India, Latvia, Kenya, Kyrgestan, Morocco, New Zealand, Russia, Sweden and Surinam, South America doing evangelistic outreach and teaching the Word of God. This has afforded her opportunities to speak in various churches and Bible schools as well as on radio. She also travels throughout the United States, including Hawaii, teaching the word of the Lord and ministering to the Body of Christ at large.
Rev. Martin has founded and taught several mentoring groups throughout the Southern California area, helping to strengthen and raise up the “Body of Christ.”
In addition to being ordained by her original church, Rev. Gerie is recognized and anointed as a prophetess. God uses this gifting and office strongly in her teaching ministry, manifesting the gifts of healing, word of knowledge and prophecy. She founded and is the President of Loaves & Fishes Ministries and is available for speaking and ministry to church groups, seminars, retreats and conferences locally and around the world.
